Pete Carroll says RB Ken Walker has a hernia issue that he's "working on."
Walker had been getting praise throughout training camp, but this is at least a minor setback. Carroll said, "I don’t know what to tell you yet, but it’s something that we can attend to and all that." While it's not known how much time he will be out, he'll miss some valuable reps. Carroll also said, "The opener is what we're shooting for." Rashaad Penny, who was dealing with an injury himself, is back to full strength and will lead the backfield. Walker should have no problem assuming the Seahawks' RB2 role upon his return.
